Jay is a specialist employment solicitor and Managing Director of Bhayani HR & Employment Law, one of only a handful of niche law firms specialising in all aspects of HR and people management. She is also the founder director of Bhayani Recruitment Limited. Her firm is based in Sheffield, Yorkshire but looks after clients across the UK with satellite offices in Leeds, Barnsley, Leicester and London.
She is a previous winner of the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards Employment Lawyer of the Year, winner of ABDN Professional of the Year, Sheffield Business Awards Excellence in Professional Services and was recognised as UK Top Rated in the Sunday Telegraph in 2019. In 2021, she was also recognised as the top UK HR advisor by Enterprise Nation.
She is a previous governor at The Sheffield College and Entrepreneur in Residence at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University and sat on the Law Society Women Lawyers Division.
