Growth Company colleague shortlisted for the 2022 Northern Power Women Awards

Growth Company colleague Teigan Higgins has been shortlisted in the ‘One to Watch’ category at the Northern Power Women Awards, which showcases individuals and organisations who are taking action to accelerate gender equality.  

Joining the company in February 2021 as a Support Worker for GC’s Employment Justice Service in South Yorkshire, Teigan has already made a huge impact helping to transform services provided to vulnerable women in the criminal justice system.

Mark Hughes, CEO at GC, congratulated Teigan on this deserved recognition, saying:

“I am delighted that Teigan has been recognised for her incredible work and the impact she has on our organisation, her colleagues, and vulnerable women across South Yorkshire.

“We are committed to gender equality at GC, with over 60% of our workforce identifying as female.  These awards recognise women who are role models and champion gender balance. I know that Teigan has led from the front in developing our services for vulnerable women and I am excited to see what she will do next.”

The Northern Power Women Awards, celebrating their sixth year, take place on March 21st at Manchester Central.
