Hayley James

Hayley James joined the Growth Company in 2022 as Marketing and Communications Director. She leads the team supporting our different business areas in promoting what we do, sharing our stories, communicating with our stakeholders, and ensuring we have a clear and consistent brand and digital presence.

Hayley has spent her career working across the public and private sector in a range of public relations roles. Most recently she worked at Greater Manchester Combined Authority overseeing Communications, Engagement and Campaigns across a broad range of policy areas for the city region, as well as for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service. She’s also held senior PR roles in public transport, The Co-operative Group and in the NHS.

Hayley is a Chartered PR practitioner and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. She is a Board Director for the CIPR and chairs the Finance Committee.
