Board Member
Phil is the Lead Member for Corporate Services and a member of the Mayoral Team at Salford City Council. He is the former Chair of the Planning and Transportation Regulatory Panel.
He has worked in the public sector and in the private sector in various management capacities up to and including board level.
A former President and Chair of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, he has also been a non-executive director of two housing associations and Chair of a not-for-profit facilities management company.
He is a Director of The Landing at MediaCity, a member of GMCA’s Housing First and Planning Commission, a member of the management panel of the Greater Manchester Pension Fund and a member of the North West Flood Risk and Coastal Committee.
Phil is a Chartered Town Planner with further post-graduate qualifications in business management and marketing.
