Growth Flag supports Northern to better understand the transport needs of businesses and their employees

Northern has signed-up to the data intelligence platform Growth Flag to help better understand the transport needs of businesses and their employees across the North of England.
The software will also help the train operator gain an insight into the supply chains of businesses that work for the rail industry and those based in and around its station premises.
The first-of-its-kind tool was developed by the Growth Company and data intelligence platform, Red Flag Alert and is one of a range of data sources and surveys Northern uses to understand potential customers and what might encourage them to travel by train.

Public sector organisations across the North of England such as Local and Combined Authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), as well as colleges and universities are also using Growth Flag to understand their local economy and support growth sectors.
