As National Inclusion Week begins, The Growth Company is proud to celebrate the colleagues, networks and initiatives that help create a culture where everyone feels valued, respected and able to thrive.

Throughout the past year, colleagues have shared their experiences, championed important causes and supported one another to strengthen inclusion, wellbeing and belonging across our organisation.

Creating a Culture Where Every Voice Counts

For the Growth Company, inclusion is more than a commitment, it is part of who we are. Through our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) networks, colleague-led campaigns and wellbeing initiatives, we provide opportunities for people to learn from one another, share their perspectives and influence positive change across the organisation.

Our colleagues continue to bring inclusion to life by sharing lived experiences and personal stories that help build understanding and encourage meaningful conversations. Over the past year, colleagues have raised awareness of topics including adoption, fertility journeys, mental health, cancer, caring responsibilities, faith, cultural celebrations and belonging in the workplace.

Inclusion in Action

Across the organisation, colleagues have supported a wide range of activities that promote equity, diversity and wellbeing. Highlights have included participation in the Dignity at Work Challenge team exercise, discussions on racial equity during Black History Month, awareness campaigns during National Fertility Week, World AIDS Day and Mental Health Awareness Week, fundraising for the Army Benevolent Fund as part of the Cateran Yomp, as well as colleague-led conversations exploring health, wellbeing and life experiences.

Colleagues have also come together to celebrate and learn from different cultures, faiths and communities through initiatives linked to Ramadan, Lent, Holi, Pride Month and Carers Week, helping to foster greater understanding and connection across our workforce.

Supporting Positive Change Together

Our EDI networks play a vital role in creating safe spaces where colleagues can connect, share experiences and help shape a more inclusive workplace. From supporting career progression and wellbeing to championing racial equity, gender equity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, faith and carers, the networks provide opportunities for colleagues to make a positive difference both within the Growth Company and beyond.

As we mark National Inclusion Week, we celebrate the collective efforts of our colleagues who continue to make our organisation a place where people can be themselves, feel a sense of belonging and contribute to a truly inclusive culture.
