A Reverent Remembrance Day Service

To mark Remembrance Day, our Veterans & Reservists EDI Network welcomed colleagues, clients, and members of the public to Friends’ Meeting House in Manchester on Friday 10 November for a special service.

Led by Rabbi Navad – Military Padre for 156 Regiment Royal Logistics Corps, the service commemorated the lives of the fallen, recognised the ongoing commitment of current service personnel, and offered an opportunity to reflect on the enduring importance of Remembrance Day.

Following the service Employer Engagement Officer for the North West, Major AJ Sandle gave a presentation on the benefits of hiring veterans and reservists, followed by a discussion around inclusive hiring policies.

A representative from the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for the north-west of England and the Isle of Man (NW RFCA) also joined us to talk more about the support available.
