Tehseen Ali

Growing up in Rochdale as a shy, working-class second-generation immigrant, Tes never imagined a career as a Partner at a firm like EY.

After studying Economics at the University of Manchester, his career journey began with a dot-com start-up, followed by managing a branch of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and then launching his audit career at PwC. Tes has now been with EY for over 22 years, where he is an Audit Partner in Manchester, working within EY Private, leading on Markets, and he sits on the North Board as well as leading DE&I initiatives within Assurance and championing social mobility.

He also serves as a non exec Director at Pro-Manchester. Alongside his professional roles, he is a proud parent of three, to be found on his mountain bike or out hiking at weekends and continually striving for work-life harmony.
