Ban the Box

The Growth Company has committed to ‘Ban the Box’, a campaign that aims to increase opportunities for people with convictions to compete for jobs.

This means we have removed conviction questions at the applications stage.

Once the application process is complete and a candidate is deemed successful based on their skills and experience, we will undertake relevant checks depending on the nature of the role. This includes carrying out the appropriate DBS check, in line with our DBS policy.
