The Growth Company has been awarded a £9.9m contract by the Ministry of Justice for the delivery of European Social Fund Co-Funding Organisation Activity Hubs in Yorkshire.

Through this voluntary service The Growth Company will be providing a safe and supportive environment for offenders in Yorkshire to support their rehabilitation and resettlement. The hub will offer a range of tailored support, including one to one advice, guidance and group work, enabling individuals to move closer to the labour market, employment training and education. The service aims to equip offenders with the necessary skills needed to help them desist from offending and contribute to their local communities.

The service will be delivered from three hubs in Yorkshire, based in Sheffield, Leeds, and York. The Sheffield hub will be delivered directly by The Growth Company, with Leeds delivered by Community Links (a charity which is part of Inspire North); and York by York City Council/York Learning.

We’re delighted to have been successful in our bid to deliver ESF Co-Funding Organisation Activity Hubs in Yorkshire. The Growth Company is committed to inclusive growth and supporting individuals in hard-to-reach communities. Supporting the work of the National Probation Service in Yorkshire to upskill offenders and support them on their journey towards rehabilitation helps us to improve lives and drive positive change.
