Recovery Works
Recovery works is a charity which helps to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society across Liverpool, including individuals who are recovering from addiction and those who have been through the justice system. We offer personalised support to over 1,000 people per year, helping them to overcome their personal challenges, improve their physical and mental wellbeing and secure sustainable employment.
Restart Scheme
The Restart Scheme provides up to 12 months of enhanced support to help individuals find secure and sustainable employment in their local area, as soon as possible. It's designed to break down any employment barriers that could be holding people back from finding work — such as lack of skills, low confidence and motivation or health issues.
Adult Education Budget
We offer a range of fully funded online courses and personalised support, helping adults across the Liverpool City Region to upskill, boost their confidence and enhance their job prospects. Service users could be long-term unemployed, recently made redundant or simply looking to progress in their current role.
IPES
IPES is a specialist programme for individuals with disabilities. The programme helps people to focus on their own strengths, skills and abilities to overcome any complex barriers preventing them from gaining sustainable employment. IPES service users receive up to 15 months of personalised support from a specialist key worker.
Justice Services
The Growth Company Justice Services is a key delivery partner of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), working with people in prison or on probation across the Liverpool City Region. We’re proud to deliver Information, Advice and Guidance in addition to wellbeing support to help some of the area’s most vulnerable individuals to rehabilitate back into society.
GC International Trade
Since 2007, we have supported businesses of all shapes and sizes across Liverpool to realise their international potential. We work closely with organisations to encourage export opportunities and enable them to develop a presence in global markets.
GC Education and Skills
As one of the largest providers of apprenticeships and training in the country, GC Education and Skills help people to develop their skills across a diverse range of sectors and levels from our St Helens Training Centre.

NPIF Microfinance Loans
GC Business Finance provides Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund microfinance loans of between £25,000 and £100,000 for SMEs located in the North West of England.
